Air is the #1 enemy of a diesel engine. If air bubbles enter the fuel lines—usually after the machine has run out of fuel or sat idle for too long—the injection pump cannot build enough pressure to fire the injector.
The Fix:
Contaminated or "stale" diesel fuel will clog the precision nozzle of your 186F engine. If your fuel looks cloudy or has water droplets at the bottom, your engine will not start.
The Fix:
Diesel engines require intense heat generated by compression to ignite the fuel. If your valves are leaking or the piston rings are worn, you won't have enough "squeeze" for ignition.
The Fix:
If the engine is turning over but not firing, the injector nozzle may be carboned up or stuck.
The Fix: Remove the injector from the cylinder head but keep it connected to the high-pressure line. Aim it into the air (away from your face!) and pull the starter. You should see a fine, mist-like spray and hear a distinct "creak" or "click" sound. If it drips or doesn't spray, you need a Genuine SBL Injector Replacement.
Diesel fuel thickens in cold temperatures, and the engine block becomes harder to heat through compression.
The Fix:
When troubleshooting doesn't work, it's often because a core component like the Fuel Injection Pump or Piston Ring Set has reached the end of its life.
Using generic, low-quality parts will lead to repeated failures and potential engine damage. At Chongqing Spring Machinery, we supply 100% original 173F, 178F, 186F, and 192F engine parts, including:
